Also worth reading (both in book form and blog form) is the Chalkster's blog. See who your next lot of "clients" are.

Not sure if this has been posted up before, if it has appologies.
If not, it's well worth a read.

A real life day to day of a real life copper, dealing with real life bossesrolleyes and real life criminals, that's when he's not bogged down in needless paperwork.

I bet his bosses and the authorities love himhehe

Apparantly its a dicsiplinary offense for a BIB to be caught reading his Blog.

Aber .. doch..

Does not the Brain Sturm und Drang one not have a blog?

He must read wot he wote!

WHY no discipline there then confused rolleyes #

Or ist it case of "Do as say.. not as do"

Tinpot woodentop .. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! banghead

paperbag boxedin und hides under the little tank

But national blog day? Snapshot into life of C21?

I think I prefer the stuff displayed in real handwriting und the bits und bobs they really used in the NT/EH places. That ist really REAL life .... of substance. A blog ist a sort of "diary" und to be frank hundreds of zillions of banal blogs of the "what tinned food we had for tea, coupled with the most mind numbing task of office life which most do" would bore knickers off those in year 2525 assuming man ist still alive und not regressed per the papers into some kind of ape-like serf

So much for Star Trek then No Spocks. Klingons on the starboard side .. but definitely "life Jim .. but not as we know it"

This is a must read for me, I'm currently treaching the next batch of BiB customers. Haven't laughed this much since realising I had 6 weeks off in the summer

Anyone see the "LAPD takedown" video on the site a few days ago. It's gone now. It showed a cop launching himself at a perp at warp speed. It was so neatly done, I wondered if it was staged.

Buy David Copperfield's book, it's an excellent read!

It refreshes me to see that at least some Bib have kept a sense of humour about their job. I can think of a couple up my way who should do the same.

It's not easy keeping a sense of humour in this job, and it's getting harder every day, trust me.....

You could say the same about living in Britain. Our local paper says it all. Bloke getting fined £200 for having a piece of junk mail with their address on it in with recycling rubbish. A lady who was assisting two 90 year olds and an 80 year old to get from the car to a rest home being fined for parking when the car was unattended for two minutes.
