Wife just got an NIP!

See was clocked at 89mph on a NSL, the A5.

She has a SP30.

What is she likely to get for 28mph over the limit. 6 points and fine?

Time to get her a slower car too!

86 and above in a 60 = Court appearance when Mags can consider a ban or heavy fine and more points.

If by a stroke of luck they do however make a Conditional Offer (doubtful) snap their hand off.

well, all im saying is, 90mph on a nice, dry, empty and smooth A road isnt exactly akin to drowning kittens is it?

Now if it was done in the fog around here at 9am this morning, I'd think differently, but what the whole 'speed kills' idiots seem to forget is there are many factors which determine a maximum 'safe' speed.

I assume that's debating who was driving at the time as you are not sure and maybe struggling to remember. As putting anyone other than the person driving at the time would be perverting the course of justice.

One the A5, yes - purely because the stretch I'm familiar with (Daventry - Cannock) is quite heavily scammed in parts.

Nah, if it's only the second bottle by 10PM that's not excessive.
It's not crime of the century, but I'm sure she'll be driving like a saint for a while now (although not too early this morning!)

I was scammed doing 89 in a 60 (single carriageway) just over 3 years ago. Received 5 points and £250 fine. Opted not to attend court. Just wrote a grovelling letter.

Last time I sign a NIP and send it back.
