Last night, I was driving home having dropped the mother-in-law off. It' was about 11pm, good visibility, but a bit wet. The road in front of me was clear and broad, being two lanes each way and a 40mph posted limit. I came past the speed camera on the road, and as I got past it, I had a "moment of weakness"

When I got to the traffic lights down the road, I indicated to turn right. A black Audi pulled up behind me with what looked like two uniformed officers in it, one of them fiddling with something on the dashboard. When the lights went green, cue me driving off like a granny, sticking exactly to the 30 limit. The Audi followed me, but pulled in to park about 300 yards down the road.

I guess I have two weeks of anxiety to look forward to. Foolish, foolish, foolish!

My opinion would be that if it were the police they would have spoke to you there and then and issued the ticket on the scene. As far as i would be concerned you have nothing to worry about.
