Crime stats...How do you find them...

[BO55 VXR]

Supposing I was thinking of moving house, I want to make sure I'm not moving into a crime ridden cespool (sp?).

So, how do I found out what the crimes stats are.... burglary, car theft, vandalism etc...

Of course, stats are only as good as the people ot report them...but its a fair guide.

Cheers.

Chief constables annual report. In local library. Have not seen it on line. Local community safety dept may also be able to furnish you with details.

They will not give advice on individual streets because estate agents got wind of it and threatened to take legal action because they could lose a sale.
