Right.

Today, I had enough.

I had enough of the way this government are ripping the heart out of this once great nation.

In line with the recent road pricing campaign, who is up for drafting, submitting and circulating a petition to call for an immediate general election, based upon the governments mishandling of Iraq, the Home Office, law and order, the economy, the transport system etc?

We have to send some message to governmant that their continued abuses of our human rights MUST stop.

C'mon then, who is up for it?

Great. Apathy is alive and kicking.

Brown is even worse than Blair, Cameron no better than either.

I'm seriously considering voting UKIP (more credible alternative than the Lib Dems these days....)

It can't hurt to try.

At the end of the day the more people they notice hate them, the more they might actually start looking into protecting our interests.

How about we make this one go global.... Currently 145 signatures. I bet if we did a similar campaign to the road pricing one and e-mailed everyone on our address lists we could really kickstart it.

Anyone in?

I used to get worried about apathy, now I just don't care any more

Thing is, This government has already bypassed its citzens on Foxhunting, Memebrship of the EU/signing the Constitution/Joining the Single Currency/Devolving power to England/War in Iraq or Afghanistan. They utter a bare faced lie during the last election when they promised no tuition fees for English universities and told the electorate "we have specifically legislated to prevent tuition fees being introduced"

So given it has faced down a majority of its citizens on all these issues, and the kind of noises it has made about the last big online petition (hijacked by rabid motoring organisations etc) then I can't see that it is about to start listening or caring now.

We are seeing the last days of Labour in any case, they have got so much wrong and have no one else to blame. I think they are only a couple more cock ups away from end game anyway

Didn't mean to p*ss on your chips, good luck with achieving the downfall of the British Government via your on line petition

Actually I think they are secretly quite glad that Bliar is hanging on as long as possible.

Thus they can play the "New Leader get out of jail card" just before the next election, and continue to fool the people that under a new leader "things can only get better now we got rid of that twunt Bliar"

Cameron has it right, Blair said he would serve a full term. OK so when he goes it is an election that is required.

No probs with spam Bliarout, I'll get my own back......

Got that kitchen ceiling painted yet?

That is one of the funniest things I have ever read - and it's taking the p*ss out of me!!

I'd love to take things further and start up my own party/action group, but I am too busy finishing Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Las Vegas to sort it out....

Sorry I couldn't help myself

I seriously hate these guys and what they have done to my beloved Britannia but they are so remote from real life that its like shouting through triple glazing.

Yeah, but using the PM's own petition site to launch a petition calling for his resignation has such a lovely ironic feeling

I think you're right, the only thing they're forgetting is that Brown is equally hated already but at least with him you can tell when he's lying as his jaw tends to drop.

The petition sounds like a good idea, perhaps get it going on P&P.

Don't lose heart too soon. In this country we seem to have cornered the market in apathy, and we won't change our ways overnight. I think it's early days yet, but the time might not be far off when the people wake up and things could take off quite suddenly.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

To make way for a sourpuss who doesn't have a driving licence and has been responsible for more dishonest sleight-of-hand than any five other politicians put together?

There will be a change alright, from the ridiculous to the absurd.
