Pistonheads, meet Nissansilvia.com (age: 16)

Guy banned for dangerous. Keeps driving. Busted again. Pulled for bald tyres. Gives false ID. Allowed to take car home. Boasts on internet car forum. Cops read forum, decide to make example.

Cue much outrage about cops policing the internet, hoon drivers...etc:

www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=218736

and a more reputable source:

www.theage.com.au/news/national/driver-cops-a-canary-but-acts-like-a-galah/2007/02/20/1171733764512.html

Hope this is of interest, since many on here may have said things they'd rather not have... and this is the future staring at you right now.

To be honest, its no difference to spouting off down the pub or at the corner shop. The fact that someone has put some relatively trustworthy trail of evidence in place AND then started typing stuff down makes it pretty inevitable. Still, this Internet thing - its killing the planet and corrupting our children and stealing our jobs.... damn this Internet, its evil - evil I tell you.....

You are quite right.

One must question the validity of evidence which could be lies, much the same as "my mate Dave" down the pub who claims he did x,y and z yet you know he is talking utter s***e....
