scratchchin Interesting as had a friend who was a foster carer.
About 6 years ago she was caring for a girl similar age who was very overweight & had to maintain a strict diet/exercise regime.
Taken into care by social services because of the eating problem & the mother's lack to address the issue.

So....is this really new news ??

I'd rather watch what dvd is talking about. I wonder if you can get the regional ITV channels on Sky like you can with the Beeb.

Although Radio Times says it's Trevor Mcdonald with "Speed Guns Missfiring" for ITV1 Anglia and London, GMTV have just been talking about the fifteen stone kid that will be on tonight. Suppose we'll just have to wait and see what comes on....

I watched the programme about the Fatkid. I wanted to see him dragged off kicking and screaming by social services. Had to laugh - bit at the end; doctors are doing tests to see if he may have a glandular condition.

As Al Murray said to Big Bob - "It's glandular - over active fat gland eh Big Bob?"
