95 in a 70

Hi Chaps,just got a letter in the post with a photo of the back of my car,banged to rights,but will this nick be a £60 fine and 3 points affair???

Hi Richard,i wouldnt worry to much if you only have 3 points a lot of insurance companys dont seem to worried about 3 point to much.

I got slapped with a £250 fine and 5 points for doing a sedate 98mph on the M3.

There doesn`t seem to be any ryme or reason to all this as i got done last year doing 98 in a 70 and i only got 3 points and a £60 fine?????

At 96mph in a 70 limit - then under ACPO Guidelines it is a matter for Court. Under this they can go into Conditional Offer (£60 and 3 points) providing Totting does not come into play.
