Last night I was driving along a single carriageway NSL and come up behind a police 4x4 who was not breaking the speed limit furious ok, the road was a bit damp but he was only doing 45mph ranting

I was forced to take evasive action by blatting past him at the next dual carriageway, up to a speedo indicated 75mph, and he didn't stop me rage

What are our plod up to these days? I can't believe it!! I overtook a police car using full throttle on my 911 turbo, and not even a sniff!! What am I paying my taxes for?! I have a good mind to join a community speed watch group after this!

Leaving a decent margin for you to be able to complete a safe/legal overtake if you wish to go quicker by the sounds of it.

Possibly...there were a couple of places where I could have, but by the time I'd summoned up the courage the opportunity was gone...the officer was probably wondering why I was being such a muppet and not making progress. Pah! You just can't get decent quality speeders these days silly

I once overtook a Met traffic car which I had got stuck behind doing about 15 MPH. The road opened up from being quite narrow to being quite wide, so I just indicated and passed round him (giving him plenty of space)- I thought they were looking for something.

I did not expect the reaction I got - which was to be followed from Avery Hill (south east london - incase you were interested) all the way to my grand parents who live just off the Old Kent Road.

They even stopped behind me whilst I parked up.

I subsequently discovered from my dad who was in the Met at the time, that they had recognised his car and was wondering who was driving it. So they decided just to follow me!!!!!! Once I got out of the car they put 2 and 2 together and decided that the car wasn't nicked!

Perhaps the police driver was talking on his radio. Perhaps he was looking for something in the bushes to the side.

Perhaps its a bit of a pointless rant about nothing in particular.

Von has been a very good boy this year so please can you give him a sense of humour for Christmas.

Thank you.
