A word of warning
Discussion
If anyone travels from Peterborough or points north along the A1 and takes the A14 section after Alconbury airfield to the A14 (Huntingdon to Cambridge), you'll be aware that they often have a scamera here:

(where Low Rd goes over the A14 on the map)
Well, the sneaky bastids have evidently not been making their target, so they now sit on the bridge at the Spittals roundabout:

I've lived where I live for over six years now. I drive that road almost daily. This is the first time I've seen the bastids there. Most GPS detectors will tell you about it, but I've never actually seen anyone there before, so keep 'em peeled.

How many fatal or serious accidents have occurred in the past two years for the stretch of road in question. Write to the local enforcement office asking for the statistics. The speed enforcement agency are under strict guidelines (often ignored) of where the can mount such a device.

I'd reckon quite a few, but they don't happen over the speed limit.
Yep. Cambridgeshire scams seem pretty decent guys for a scameraship, they've even let me inside their vans before.

Kind of a moot point now - they're installing SPECS from the M11 right up to the A1(M). This will mean that at night times I will now go to the Tescos in Milton rather than in Bar Hill, and therefore run over children in Arbury.
Is that due to roadworks?
Nope, the roadworks are there so they can put the cams in.
