A quick question about truvelo cameras
Discussion
On the coast road in newcastle, there are two truvelo cameras as you head towards the coast on the left hand side. The first in a 40 and the second in a 50.
My question is about the second camera. The camera is positioned between the coast road (which it is pointing at), and a "sliproad" that comes off the coast road. The sliproad goes down to a 30 a matter of yards away from the camera.
Now, I've been past this at around 40ish plenty of times, but the last twice its flashed when I went past. A coincidence? Can these cameras get you even though they are pointing at the dual carriageway? I'd have thought it was a bit advanced to be able to catch people speeding on roads with 2 different speed limits, when its not even pointed at one of them, but you never know.... I would personally have said no, but then why has it flashed the last twice i've gone past?
Should I be worried?

Is it a Truvelo or a Gatso ? I stand to be corrected on this, but Truevelos don't flash do they ?
they do flash and are trigged by sensors in the road. Technology not a problem in sensing two roads providing the camera can take the picture of both roads. I however doubt it has type approval for that.
There should be three white lines on the road a few inches a part. Which ever road they are on, then the truvelo is watching.
