Ok quick question about no right turn signs. On the below abomination of a road junction with the placement of the No right turns signs on traffic light signals at the indicated locations is it permissible to turn right down the correct direction carriageway after all no right turn signs have been passed or would the signs prevent the right turn as shown in the green line.

My thoughts are that the four signs are there to prevent a right turn down the wrong way carriage way and once you have passed the wrong way carriageway and central reservation there are no further no right turn signs preventing the right turn on the correct carriageway. If the green line is illegal then surely there should be a further two signs on the far side of the left to right carriageway.
Downside of continuing on the roundabout is the extra traffic light signals have quite long wait times so you can save a bit of time (and C02 bandwagon) by making the turn.

For this post to make sense assume top of picture is North.
I would suggest that it depends which way the signs are facing. Following the flow of the green line, I assume that the ‘first’ pair of no right turn signs applies to not turning the wrong way onto the major road and are thus facing traffic on the ‘South West’ section of the roundabout.
Now, I suspect that the second set of signs are positioned to point down the major road to stop major road users turning right onto the ‘North East’ section of the roundabout. (They should have come off to the left before then gone round the ‘South West’ section in order to turn right). This would mean that the signs do not apply to those crossing the major road thus the route of the green line would be valid.
If the second set of no right turn signs are facing the ‘crossing traffic’ then the route of the green line is a ‘no no’.
Just my 2p worth!

The location of the 2nd set of 'No Right Turn' signs would suggets that you should continue around the roundabout completely and not attempt to turn onto the main thru carraigeway. Don't know exactly how the lights are timed but I would suspect that they are set to keep the thru road totally clear on a red light ie lights onto the thru road goto red before the lights off of the thru road.

Firstly; love the picture! We should have more puzzles like this, it really entertained me this aft!
Secondly; Gad damned Hamburger Junctions! (As they are known.) I hate them. The very definition of a camel (designed at committee).
To answer your question; No, you can't turn direct onto the "Southeast-bound" carriageway but rather have to continue around the roundabout. The "No Right Turn" signs apply to the turn after them, not before, that's why there are four not two.
However, the way I would have done it is with "No Entry" signs on either side of the "Northwest-bound" carriageway, rather than "No Right Turn" signs, and "Ahead Only" arrow filters on the traffic lights (which may be there, I don't know).

What a peculiar set of signs.
What you need is something like this, on which you can legally turn right:

t or a haircut. Full grade separation or Hamburger.... hmmm...
I know, both! Brilliant!
Sorry I haven’t been back for a while. The hamburger in question is indeed in Bracknell and my first thoughts were that the green line was an illegal right turn, but seeing the number of others making it and the position of the NRT signs it seemed less clear cut. NRT signs do not seem to be consistent on their positioning as there are plenty of other junctions around here where there is a NRT on the far side of the carriageway you cant turn into and on this junction there are no visible NRT signs where you make the turn, just an abundance of them that seem to be making the point to stop you going the wrong way up the DC. The situation is greyed more by the set of lights where the DC exits the roundabout as to be stopped at these lights you would have to make the NRT as otherwise you would have been stopped at the set on entry. Unfortunately it takes quite a bit longer to carry on around the roundabout as you can not make it all the way through on one cycle of lights and you always get stopped before joining the DC which has a considerably longer cycle length.
However given PH seems to be in agreement that it is a bad turn I will go around in future as I don’t need to be drawing extra attention or any excuse for a tug by any hiding bib..
