Biker caught by YouTube

I know that section of dual carraigeway, it is roughly a mile long, so getting up to 170 is quite an achievement even on an R1. I wonder what the sentence will be ?

ooops ! wrong story ! (red face). I liked the skiing one too, and was emailing it to a mate.

He is also said to have been seen accelerating from rest to high speeds in first gear

Oh My God! Later, reports were made that he filled the fuel tank with an explosive liquid.

And he also said:
flooring a Honda Fireblade motorbike to its maximum speed of 170 mph

Don't you floor cars by pushing the accelerator pedal down to the floor? How does this apply to a twist grip throttle found on motorbikes?

Anyhow, my road going fireblade gets to a comfortable 170 on the back straight at Snetterton. Given a bit more time I'd estimate seeing 185+ on the speedo. Though what this amounts to in real MPH is anyone's guess

I am most impressed that this guy managed to ride a Yamaha R1 and a Honda Fireblade at the same time. Doing wheelies no less.

This reminds me of a drunken night out at the same tube station - Angel.

A mate of mine decided it would be a laugh to "surf" down the middle of the escalators (where the warning signs/emergency stop bit is). shoes off and surfed all the way to the end of the escalator in his socks, jumping all the obstacles, before landing on his feet at the bottom.

Another mate tries to copy him, but hits the first emergency stop thing, and then rolls the entire way to the bottom, fracturing his coxis (sp?). Very Very funny.

I'm not having a dig at coppers but have they got nothing better to do than sit on their arses and watch videos trying to get someone for speeding? They should be out there catching murderers and rapists, and all sorts like that.

I find all this speed stuff pathetic.

Do we know what happened to the bloke doing 170 in the 997 Turbo?
