It's insurance renewal time, and I'm after some advice on notification to the Insurance Company of a NIP.

I've received said NIP but I'm contesting it/going through PACE. So do I have to tell them now and see my premiums increase or wait until/if I'm convicted?

Not clear on my policy documents what is expected, so any advice most gratefully received.

You only have to declare convictions, so until you've actually recieved the points, you don't have to tell them.

They usually ask if you have any pending, too (at least mine do).

Mine is a straight renewal and I've looked at their terms and it doesn't mention impending stuff. In fact, all it mentions are accident claims!
