Found a door dinger - what to do?

Where I live, there is a communal parking area. My girlfriend's car has been scraped and dented by what appears to be a white car or van.
There is only one white vehicle that uses the car park on a regular basis, and today I witnessed him banging his door into the car next to him.
I've left a note on his windscreen telling him that I saw him, and asking him to be more careful - is there anything else I can do? I'm providing his nomber plate to the management committee as well.
I want to write "Piss Cock Partridge" on teh side of his van, but the missus won't let me!!
