Question about Gatso Cameras

[D_T_W]

Can they take a valid picture if you are travelling in the opposite direction?

The reason i ask is that i was on my way home last night and got flashed by a Gatso on the other side of the carriage way. Its Dual Carriageway with central reservation, i was travelling north and the camera is on the southbound side. Only markings on the road are on the southbound side. Was travelling at an indicated 90, i knew the camera was there but never really bothered about it as i've never set it off before, even travelling at higher speeds.

Much obliged chaps

looks like you're in the clear to me.

opposite sie of road, no corroborating road markings, and most prob no pic of you either.

Careful - this has been asked countless times

They aren't type-approved by the Home Office for this - so although you can be done, it can't be processed

I don't think they can....somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.
