If article is correct - it's a good result. Whether you agree with current policy on speeding or not, if you stand up in court and start telling porkies to get somebody acquitted then you deserve everything you get.

Hmm, yes.

I doubt that Freeman would be stupid enough to advise people to lie.

He's smarter than that.

Not saying he did. Did we not see there was some issue surrounding this sort of suggestion that he was being investigated about. Do you think its the same case?

"But the lie was exposed when police discovered that the notices of intended prosecution had arrived"

I wonder how? Would it be Knock Knock "We have a warrant to conduct a search" followed by "Oops we left the originals on the sideboard"?

So far today I have read
1. Ted Heath was apparently gay.
2. Solicitors apparently encourage their clients to lie.

I am awaiting an expose on the lavatory habits of bears in woods any time now.

It was discovered when they applied for costs. What about if the costs included an invoice from lawyer dated before they claimed to have received NIP? What a delicious irony if so biglaugh

Ja... I believe he "fight fire with fire ... or law with the letter of the law" - und that this letter if applied properly allow the so-called "loop hole"

Perhaps they misinterpreted wilfully what he said to them. rolleyes

Yes.. but it ist not true. The thing about .. nono cannot say .. ist rudey und only hearsay about .. Und as for the toilet ( am Middle Class Liebchen und have new thing like an indoor toilet upstairs/downstairs und en suite und do not go to the old lavvy down the bottom of t'garden dahrling Mmmmmch!! ) (That ist supposed to be the smmoooochy kiss of "aristo-crass- eeeeeeh!" ) .. so I caan only comment about felines und cat littering trays .. also known as "Klo" hehe

Quite right, this advice applies to EVERYBODY, (if you know what I mean).
