is it still possible to make a claim against TVR blackpool.

My car has been off the road for 3 months now. Apparently it only needs one part but currently unavailable.

I dont see this as the fault of the dealer who is trying after all to help me fix my car, but I am now irked to say the least

A claim for what exactly? Can't see you having any success tbh...your contract is with your dealer, not any of the TVR Ltd companies...

btw, what part are you waiting for?

Agreed.

You can only sue people for non-performance of a contract if you have ever had a contract with them.

Thus if you were to sue anyone it would be the dealer you bought the car from if you bought it new.

However, I think it would be difficult to find an angle to sue them about the unavailability of a part, unless the car is very new and has been off the road for 3 months straight waiting for it.

In that kind of scenario, you could make some inroads under 'Not fit for purpose' maybe and get your money back for the car. Maybe. After a lot of work and a solicitor.
