This Van was parked on the A20 Sidcup by-pass.

The cones were focing traffic to break and merge, however the flow of cars was low.

If they zapped somebody, would thay be able to claim that the scammer van was illegally parked and therefore avoid the fine.

Just to be clear This is not for me

The buggers were down by Flamingo Park at about 5-6 pm today. I am normally quite careful there but today I forgot my speed and had to stand on the brakes at the last minute. Not sure how far down the road they read but I will be watching the post for the next couple of weeks.
I told my wife when I got home expecting her to give me one of her holier than thou speeches but she said she had just come past there and it wasn't a scammera van, when I assured her it was, her reply was "oops". She'll be watching the post as well.

seeing as that van is located within 100 yards of an existing fixed camera, what justification can there be for siting it there?

For those that dont know the location its a 50 MPH dual carriageway that approx 250 yards after the junction that camera is on changes to NSL

I thought I read something about the lasergun part of it not being aimed through railings etc or it gives a false reading? (Not that a false reading ever worried them of course)

So what it looks like, van parks up on a two lane road near a junction, forcing people to filter into one lane so they can film the lane under the bridge to te left of them. ABSOLUTELY DEPLORABLE!!!!!!!!

And to make things worse, they are on a fishing trip, outside the van drinking a brew, filming everything to filter through later!!
