Out walking the puppy, on a little side street, I noticed double yellows down each side of the road. Now I'm thinking, there is no need for any restrictions. The road is NOT busy, it's pretty much residential, so maybe on one side (it's narrowish) but not both. Then I get to thinking, WAIT, the council have started to charge for parking at it's NEW swimming pool and it don't want people NOT paying. Like Paocher and game keeper being one ?

If I lived in that particular road I'd be WELL peeed off !

It would most likely be the residents complaining when their previously quiet road became a free car park for all the leisure centre users....

Parking permits might be of use there + regular wardens to enforce. A bit similar to where i have to park & get a permit for, almost everyday I see a few cars with parking tickets at £60 each! should i also leave a note on their screen to say, park up at iceland they only fine you £20 for no pay & display.
