This morning at 7 am mrs rebuilda discovered we had been burgled during the night. The theft was the usual stuff, phones, laptop, purse etc and all from the front room. The reason I am posting at all is to compliment the police for attending within an hour of the burglary being reported, and for being very understanding and thorough in checking the scene. Just waiting for a soco to arrive now and try to lift prints.
Top marks Greater Manchester Police.

Oh... if anyone in the Bolton area gets offered a cheap IBM laptop please let me know. I have a space in the boot of my car for the little scroat who did this ...

Nice to hear BiB being praised for a change!! I take it they didn't nick your P&J then! If your looking for a motor capable of transporting the little scrote once you've done your worst, see the "Great Gangster cars" thread in GG

We also had a visit from our local community police officer tonight and SOCO found a live print on the doors this afternoon. Still very pesimistic(spelling?) about ever catching the crim.
I already have an ex paramedic transit complete with blue light boxes in the roof.
I was thinking more of a mini boot, driving style along the lines of Russ Swift.
Hospital was not the planned destination, trust me.

Now sleeping with all keys on the bedside cabinet and a four foot long broadsword beside me.

Hope that you don't wake up to find them standing there with your broadsword then (Danny boy).

I really dont think they will come back, but it used to hang on the wall downstairs. Its safer close to me than close to them.
It has also come to light that there is a circus camped at the other end of our village. I am not blaming them but its been virtually crime free in the village for years, now this happens and we were'nt the only victims.
The blood is still boiling.
