Bike coppers on the M4

Driving home yesterday down the M4 from Newbury, I passed about a dozen police officers on the motorway on Police Bikes all in convoy in the outside lane on the other side of the carriageway, didnt think much of it until this morning when driving back to work and what do i see on the other side of the carriageway, the dozen or so police bikes again all in convoy on the opposite side of the carriageway.

Is it some kind of training? Or just the weathers nice so convoy to work and back Not bothered about it (why would i be) just not something i have seen before.

They've taken the bikes off the road in TVP - or certainly had done recently.

Might be special escort - perhaps Lord Tony was popping down to Vodafone to talk about a seat on the board?

Must have been a long meeting then as they were coming back from Newbury direction this morning!

Anyway, Ron Dennis' entrance to Vodafone in his helicopter is going to take some beating. Even had Ruth Badger turn up at HQ for some old toss too. Luckily i missed that one...
