What exactly are the rules for eating /drinking in my car???

Surely if the car is sitting at traffic lights I can pick up an apple and put it back in a cubbyhole just before moving off..or will I get busted?

What about sipping some water while on the motorway? Isnt it safer to make sure your fluid levels are up on a hot day?? or is it better to pass out at 70 mpH??

Why can people light a fag? and yet I cant down a hob-nob??

The correct method is to have your mobile wedged between cheek and shoulder, head to one side, whilst opening pre-packed triangle of sarnies, canned drink between your legs, steering with your left knee whilst accelerating up the slip road hard, letting the auto box do the work.

Few years ago a girl was done in Chippenham for drinking water while stopped at the traffic lights.

Which is worst dropping a bit of BLT in your lap while driving or a lit ciggy?

A BLT never burn anyone of st fire to a seat.

nono Set the cruise control for 56mph, jump into the back, lounge across the rear seat enjoying your three course meal, cigar and Chateauneuf du Pape, reading a magazine and adjusting course via a broom handle jammed up against a steering wheel spoke.

Tip: aim for the middle lane on motorways, that means you have the maximum possible time to savour your food before being forced to adjust your trajectory again.

You don't have to be driving for a double whopper to be lethal.

No law on eating/drinking at the wheel, but if doing so renders you not in proper control in the eyes of a passing BiB then you will collect three points minimum.

Hampshire seems to be a hot spot for this as I recall.
