A1M from Borehamwood to South Mimms what's going on?
Discussion
It's either ANPR or a talivan on the flyover, parked accross the road with the rear doors pointing down the southbound. I went by just after 4 and there were 2 cop cars in the northbound layby, the van and 4 cars on the bridge and another cop car in the southbound layby. Must have been for something a little more serious than speeders, the damn road is so busy at that time you can't speed.
Was travelling along the M25 towards Enfield J25 from Heathrow sides earlier this afternoon; saw very heavy Ecilop presence on a couple of bridges going over the '25, all in the J21-23 area.
It seems they were expecting a few dodgers to hit the motorway, so they had - what looked like - ST220 Mondeos on the hard shoulder ready and poised for a high-speed pursuit (dark blue with hi-viz green livery). Anti-clockwise there were two of 'em and clockwise, three.

Whilst walking from the RCC to the services for lunch, I heard a policeman say to a MOP that it was an open day of some kind.
I suspect that the hordes of motorway cars that were inbound to South Mimms Services were attracted to the catering services wagon parked up there...
Smelled good, TBH.
