Quickie!

Can I throw away the front bumper on my Disco? Is there a legal requirement to have one, and if I do have to replace it, what is the minimum I can replace it with?

TIA

Does it's removal expose anything at all sharp or protruding, anything that renders the vehicle in anyway more dangerous than as the manufacturer intended with the bumper on ?

No. Chassis rails (closed off box section) stop about 4" short of the front grille.

As VH states.

But offence in my book, as an x Disco owner, of wilful abusing a 4 x 4 contrary to the Landrover Act 1948.

Ugly looking barstewart and a stop no doubt would produce some thing to go down in the book?

Mudguards?
