Just looked out of my office window to see that the road is closed, cop cars at each end. A riot van and two X5's are all on the street. Armed BiB all over the place guarding the door to the bank over the road.

Cops and staff going in and out of the bank. We have been told we can't leave our building. It's across a narrow one way street, so excludes a bomb threat. I guess we are talking robery? Armed most likely?

Cheers

Paul

If that CCTV camera turns around and starts looking back at you - that's the time to start running.

Ah but this is a Bank robbery. Much more glam than a bail hostel.

I know a bloke who got stuck in his office by some sort of "armed response" going on outside. Next thing he knew a copper in full gear with an automatic rifle comes through his office door...

"If this is about the VAT return I can explain..." he said...
