Ive been flashed by a Gatsometer doing 39 in a 30 zone (naughty boy!) but the camera was under maintenance. It was at waist height being worked on when the pic was took.
I reckon the camera calibration can be questioned in that the angle is different at waist height than the laser calibrated angle. ANY THOUGHTS ONE WAY OR THE OTHER???

Cheers

If it was 'being worked on'...I would expect it wouldn't be in service hence you wouldn't have any cause for concern. Although why you would knowingly be travelling in excess of the limit knowing the camera was there is surprising.
But the super paranoid would advocate you secured evidence of it's un-serviceability should the dreaded NIP subsequently come tumbling through the letterbox.

Yes had the NIP.. Wonderful. Done some homework and the directgov website states that they are not height dependant..

Ah well, time to take it like a man then !!!
