Is it worth going down the PACE route for 36 in a 30?

If you are guilty, then not really.. But if you are innocent or are at the totting up to ban stage, then quite possibly.

What if you are quite sure that you did not exceed the limit; I mean, usually, you can expect a NIP after seeing a flash in your rv mirror? Ask for the evidence first?

check the local scp website - several offer a driving course rather than a fine/points. Thames Valley failed to do so in my case despite big proclamations on their website that they did. they backed down when I said i wanted to go to court.

Cause the parasites as much pain as possible.

The whole SCP racket needs ground to dust.

If you are sure that you didn't exceed the limit then you think you are innocent, so yes, ask for the evidence etc.. and do all you legally can to protect yourself, as you are entitled to do.

But for a first offence: [sic]

Q. Will I be offered an education course instead of points?
A. Thames Valley does offer one of the largest education programmes in the country for drivers caught speeding. Drivers will only be offered a course if it is the first that they have offence committed in the area and if they are are caught just above the threshold set by ACPO.
Opting, or requesting the course is an admission?
