Post came today with parcel, inside a pack of 2 Eufy cameras and base station.

We've not ordered or paid for such, name and address perfect.

No paperwork with the parcel, and the sender is an Oriental named setup, can't find a number to call them..

I realise this could be some sort of scam, but realistically how long before they become mine.

Value according to current offer on Eufy website £80, reduced by £75 at present.

Was the delivery recorded?

If not, who cares, worst that happens is that they give themselves. 5 star review in your name.

Chinese Government wanting to listen in on you. Are you a PH Director type? Wrap them in tin foil, then place them in a biscuit tin. Can’t be too careful now wink

From Amazon? They'll just tell you to keep them.

I’ve had something similar twice now (different goods) and in both cases there was absolutely nothing in the deliveries to identify the supplier/seller. My name & address were perfect but literally impossible to contact whoever sent them to arrange a return.

I hung on to them for a while in case of any follow up but nothing, so I kept them.

As far as I can understand it, the only known incidences of this is where a seller is trying to drive up their rating with a 5* review from a validated delivery. Does seem an expensive way of going about it.

I didn’t know what a eufy camera was, & googled/ how many more will after the OP’s shared this on a public site?

Is this some sort of marketing strategy…?

Yeah!

And I'll bet the website has a virus imbedded in the home page too!

My doorbell is eufy. I didn't fancy paying Uncle Jeff a monthly subscription so went with this instead. Stonkingly good picture/sound quality, motion sensor etc, saved to an SD card, controlled via app.

I think eufy is a sister company to anker, so is actually reasonably reputable

Looks like it’s a good advertising method then biggrin

To be fair I am going to replace our cameras with eufy ones at some point
