My missus finished a 3 weeker recently and the sentence was passed on Monday. She has been phoning for the judgement twice a day since and no one is picking up the phone.
However that isn't a surprise; she was shocked by the lax nature and general incompetence of everyone involved except the judge. Barristers excuses such as they couldn't find a hole punch or the photo copier was busy were used to defend their inability to do "admin". Of those 3 weeks only 2 DAYS were without incident that should have been avoided.
No wonder our justice system is in the bin!
