Question : Being a leap year, my ban is 366 days?

This is bugging me, I got banned last year april 14th.
With it been a leap year, should my ban end on the 13th?

DVLA will write to you before hand offering your Licence back.

In law, if they mention a year, it lasts the number of days in the relevant year. So in your case it will run out on the 14th. The only up-side is that each leap-year you get a day's free insurance.

Or, more likely, three out of four years you pay for a day that's not there.

Am back on the road on the 13th Jan... I know what you mean Zeroprobe, mine ban seems like for ever and its only a 1/4 of your ban! Was it in the KA?
