Zip out rear window.

Another daft question here....

What's the purpose of the zip out rear window on the Caterham hood. Is it for access into the boot or/can you unzip it for ventilation when driving? As its fixed at the bottom I assume you'd have to roll it up and secure before driving.

If it's raining and you have the hood up unzipping the rear window helps to stop the windscreen steaming up.

It does allow access to the boot, and is an easier way of adjusting the hood tensioner than from inside.

It also helps when you put the roof on. Unzip the window, put the roof on & do all the poppers up, zip up the window then tension inside.
