R500 Build numbers

I've done 7k over 2 summers.... my car was out of action for most of this summer, and the miles have mainly been driving to circuits and round them (or to the dealer for warranty claims). 10k for such a 16 year old car is not a lot.
However, it might depend on when those miles were done - all in the early years, and been sitting idle for 10 years? Used regularly but infrequently? All covered recently?
Reverse order of those is likely best wrt to their being a low risk of issues. Not necessarily a problem just different things to look at.

R500 Duratecs were made through to 2015 (or thereabouts). Not sure on overall numbers but something around the 150-200 mark (worldwide), I'd guess.
They are nowadays mostly with owners who want to keep them long-term, so they don't come up for sale too often.
That said, there is a nice yellow manual car available at the moment (on Autotrader, IIRC) - not white with red stripes, of course, but getting a good car might be the way forward instead of waiting for a particular colour scheme that might never come along.
