My carbon dash could do with a refresh but I haven't a clue how it comes off. Does anyone know or had any experience with them please? Car is a 2018 420r with standard dash.

At that age they're usually bonded in so will not be easy to remove, better to strip the dials and switches out and have it prepped and lacquered in situ.

It won't have been lacquered originally so what are you hoping to gain?

Big job - are you a member of CL7C? They have a thread called ‘Dashboard Change” that gives detail about scuttle yes/no, rivets, silicone, wiring etc. Google should find the thread if you’re interested.

It does seem to be lacquered as I left it in the open air one night when camping and it got dew on it. So now the dash is covered in little white dots which wont come off. The carbon wing protectors are fine because they are not lacquered.

They're not originally lacquered, if they were you wouldn't get the white dots.

Try some WD40 to clear the dots, then use wood silk furniture polish to protect it.

Tried all that first, still there. Mine was a factory build and lacquered. I believe the lacquer is porous from what I've read. It's done it before after washing the car but I wiped it off before it had a chance to appear.
