Presumably it means refitting the cat for each MOT? How long does that take to refit and then take off again?

2 bolts and 2 springs plus the sensor....

Ten minutes.....

Also means the Cat should last as its not getting flames spat into it on a regular basis.

Unable to tell, mainly because its pissed down every day for the last fortnight....

It does sound a tad deeper on tickover though....

No. Plus it gets through the mot with it fitted. Not sure how but I'm not complaining.

Not sure mine would make it.

Mine always needs a good thrash to get it up to temp to pass the emissions test! (Sigma 140).

My friendly MoT station very generously 'forgets' the emission test...lucky, lucky me :-)
