Hi there

I have an old spec Caterham 7 with K series Rover engine in which has no fuel supply. Cant get feeds from fusebox, Pump, nothing. Leads me to think it is inertia switch but cant find it anywhere. Any one have a wiring diagram or any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks

Ben

Inertia switch should be on the bulk head where the ECU and relay box is.

Incorrigible

Wiring to and from the inertia switch is green and yellow (looks a little like a household earth wire)

To test remove the larger multi plug from the MFRU (little black box above the ECU) and supply 12v to the appropriate pin (you just need a small male spade connector and a bit of wire to jump to the battery)

If you get no whirring from the pump, it's either the inertia switch or the pump itself

Whirring at that point would indicate a problem with the MFRU or the ECU (although I'd suspect the imobilisor)
