r400 exhaust

hi all
bought a used manifold, exhaust and cat for my k-series r400 sv, thing is i think i've balls up, the car it came off was a 1.6 k-series, only bought it so that if i have problems with the next mot due to my car having no cat, i can fit this, first of all does anyone think it'll fit my car and if it does will it cause any performance problems due it coming off a standard k-series engine.

Why not just ring Caterham parts and ask if the cat you've bought is common to both cars? I'd guess it probably would fit but they will be able to tell you for sure.

Get caterham to do the Mot. They will put on a Cat and get it done..... Is that the Green SV you bought from West London ?looked a very nice car with a nice number plate, was very tempted myself .. An ideal car for Caterham F1 team colours!.

Just re read your post...if its the separate cat it may fit with your current silencer....if not as previous post check with CC re the silencer and Cat ...I would of thought it would be ok though!.

correct, it is the same car from west london, nice original car with just afew stone chips here n there, goes like a rocket compared to my last car, porsche 964 c2, the new exhaust is cat n exhaust all in one so can't be separated.
