Which T9 transmission

Unfortunately I tried everything but couldn't get the fill plug off the T9 in my 7 (2010 SV Duratec). The car wasn't built by me and after quite a bit of track use I wanted to replace the tranny fluid. My T9 has a drain plug on the bottom (the first I have seen like that), a lowly .75L of fluid came out. I was able to remove the top cover with the engine/tranny in the car and refilled with 1.25L. The normal method I understand is to fill till it runs out the filler on the side that I cant get off. Looking up the fluid capacity's it seems there are two T9 N types used (pre 87 and post). The pre 87's use 1.9L and the post 1.25L. Any easy way to identify which I have? For now I refilled with 1.25L as it couldn't be any worse off than it was before...
