Hi all
After smashing the sump on my R400, now replaced but driving so carefully it's taking the enjoyment away from having the car does anyone know a decent place in the West Yorkshire area to help me raise the ride height then flat floor setup? I am a mechanical numpty so attacking it with c spanners is a no go for me.
Thx in advance
M

Try Rob Sinclair Cars, of Tingley, Wakefield.

what clearance do you currently have under the leading edge of the sump to road ?
you could consider fitting 225 or 250 lb front springs to help reduce the possibility of ttting the sump again.

these springs with 75mm of clearance is normally ok unless you have two 15 stone people aboard and then not a lot will help matters .

Hi there, thanks for the replies,, I will look up the garage in Tingley.

For ride height with me in it I have about 5 cm, weigh about 14 stone.

Not West Yorkshire I know, but I travel from Saddleworth to Clitheroe to use Ian at Track V Road. And lots of interesting cars to see whilst you're there.
