Year for introduction of metric chassis?

As the title says.

I am trying to ascertain whether a 2005 bonnet will fit a 2007 car (SV).

Seems to suggest Metric chassis came in 2006/2007.

I have an Imperial 2007 SV, but it was special order.
As Tim says, I think that was the change over year.
The bonnets have always been a crap fit anyway, so I would think that the 2005 bonnet should fit a 2007 car.
I don't think they actually changed the dimensions of the car.

The bonnet will fit either, as will a CSR one.
