Discussion

Assuming you were in the purple/maroon SX200 (?), I thought you might be a PHer. More balls than me to blast down that bumpy bit. I might even have it on video... We managed to loose the R500 in Hawes too.
We were on a little tour of the Dales having left the Sheffield area at 7am. Had a great day.

TBH I was surprised I caught you up -
I have you all on video as I passed you.
I suppose my car being heavier its a little more planted on the bumpy sections. I overtook you all in 3rd gear so you should have all seen plenty of flames on overrun as I pulled back in, I could hear it popping and banging.
Glad you had a good day I managed 180miles and 50 litres of fuel

5/6 of you having a gentle run out this morning - I passed you between Settle and Ribblehead, the Orange R500 was a little lost in Settle, but pointed him in the right direction and we caught you up.
Hi Sparky, it was me you directed in the R500. Thank you for that! I had pulled over earlier for a much needed toilet break and then got a little lost which is why I was so far behind.I've got to admit, chasing you through that section was the driving highlight of the day for me. It's the first time I've ever been through there, it's a cracking bit of road although a little bit hairy at times in our light cars with some pace. We had all 4 wheels off the ground a couple of times!
Would have loved to have stuck around and continued to play but Caterbram had an epic route planned which we needed to stick to or else we would have been driving home in the dark. There were some big flames coming out the back of the SX
