Can't tell about the duranail, but on the k-series there was a plugged threaded boss in one of the primaries where it went.

The decat pipe has provision for the sensor, the only real benefit is the look. The cat has a very very small effect on power.

^ what Mic said. I had one on my K R300, and I couldn't tell the difference between the two.
I felt the de-cat pipe was a waste of money.

As above really. I've run both on the R400 and I can't really tell any difference in power. If anything, it runs smoother with the cat fitted. My main reason for using the by-pass pipe was to prevent damage to the cat as the car is mostly used on track and it can get VERY hot. But maybe peace of mind at MOT time is not worth the £300+.

Since putting the cat back onto my CSR260 it does run a little smoother, which is a shame as the crazy pops and bangs are a hoot. Struggle to detect any driving difference on track.

I bought my baypass pipe to save the cat, before I realised it was the same price as a new cat !
