Can someone tell me what the difference is between the front suspension on a1995 dedion car and a 1996 car. My 1995 front dampers are leaking so I need to replace and am struggling to find the correct part number for spax dampers. What is "stem loop" fitting? Thanks!

Hi

The stem Loop is the part that fits from the top of the spring collar up to the mounting point (loop, which could be a bush or rose joint.

They can be of varying lengths and can be changed to shorten or lengthen the damper if required.

Generally the other end is part of the top of the body of the damper.

I guess this was at the same time they redesigned the upper damper mount and wishbone mount. Pre this date they were mounted together and later they are separate.
