R300 Rear wing removal.

I'm want to get the rear wings re-sprayed on the back of my R300 due to stonechips. I'm assuming that getting them off can't be that much of a problem or am I kidding myself.
Apart from the rear lights and the bolts around the perimeter is there anything else thats going to catch me out?. I guess it's also worth putting protective film on here?.
From a different view point because I'm thinking of moving it on would I be better to offer it for sale Warts and all.

No harm in spraying them up IMO. Untidy wings really let road cars down (mine is an old racer so mostly gaffer tape, and I never have to remove them- normally a friendly competitor removes them for me
No real catches here, the bolts around the front half of the wing screw into captive 'riv-unts', and the back half they are affixed from the other side with nuts and washers (accessible inside the boot). To undo the rear-most bolts, you'll need to reach up into the space behind the rear panel with your 8mm spanner. A bit fiddly but should be quite obvious once you've started.
Consider re-fitting the wings with nylon bolts, the future owner might thank you for it!

You will probably find that the bolts will be seized in the rivnuts, try to loosen a few. I've found on even fairly new (<5 years) that this happens.

Obviously the previous owner may have used lovely stainless (or plastic) bolts and plenty of assembly compound, but it's worth having a look first as you'll need to grind the bolt heads off otherwise

To be perfectly honest yes I am thinking about it. I don't think Caterhams are for me to be perfectly honest. It's a great little car and hasn't missed a beat. I shall get it prepared and put it back on the market. I've got a dealer coming back to me with an offer but I've no doubt I won go that way.
