Headlight alternative...?

Has anyone done away with the headlights for a smaller LED type, dont all shoot at once...

I've only seen these from Seven Speed and they look too modern to fit on a Caterham to me.

I looked at those LED lights but they just don't look right.

I'm quite tempted to replace the sidelights with an LED light to give improved daytime visibility (of me by other drivers!).

Anyone replaced the main light with something a little less yellow? I don't want horrendously bright HID's blinding everyone in the night, just something a little whiter?

Have you tried better bulbs?
I've got the philips xtreem but I think the Halfords +100 and +120 are supposed to be better.

I've got Halfords UltraBrilliance in mine and they're pretty good. I have read reports that they are too fragile for Sevens but mine have lasted 4000 miles so far (although obviously switched off for most of them). They're often on BOGOF too.
