Deposit is down on my first caterham :-D
Discussion
Since my dad getting his first caterham when I was 11 i have wanted one so today, aged 20, I put a deposit down on my first caterham! It is just a basic spec 1999 1.6 k series but I plan on making it my own. Will be changing wheels to 13" (and wings) along with adding an FIA roll bar, big brake kit. Will only be used for track until July when I am 21 and I can get insured reasonably.

Saw your Dad's post on Blatchat.
A lot more interesting than my car at 20 - a Renault 9 TLE.
Happy motoring and may see you at a South Wilts meeting over the summer.

Congratulations on your new Girlfriend :-)
Are you looking at doing trackdays next year or competing ?
If you want an easy start to competitive driving you won't find a better introduction that the Lotus 7 Club speed championship.
