Fellas, noticed my exhaust seems to be blowing today, where the four collectors meet the straight pipe into the silencer. This is the section that is joined by welded brackets that are bolted top and bottom.

It only appears to be one of the pipes, maybe two but it's annoying. The bolts are tight but don't seem to have lateral movement in the brackets to fit the two sections together any tighter, so what is the fix - some exhaust paste/tape inside the pipe to make it a more snug fit?

Cheers,

A small leak can be sealed with acrylic flue sealant (more flexible than exhaust paste) but mine eventually got so bad the cure was to use a cheap exhaust expander to stretch the inner pipes. That was at 70k though.

They all blow eventually where the collector joins the primary's , Best use a bit of clear silicone don't have the Bolts too tight or the tabs can crack under stress.
