Stirling Moss Tribute on Telly!

I expect you have all seen the Stirling Moss tribute programme before by Patrick Stewart. I came in from a rough/knackering sail yesterday and said to the wife -that's it I'm selling up and getting a Caterham - she laughed as I switched on the TV and there was Tiff Needel giving Patrick lessons in how to get the back end of a Caterham out before he had a go in Stirlings original Vanwall. It sounded superb and an obvious choice of car to demonstrate handling of course

Saw the second half of it. I missed it when it was on around Christmas. Very entertaining programme - and nice to see Caterham get a bit of a plug.

I wondered also, especailly as the car was in the same colours as the one Top Gear built... with all those missing fasteners Wonder what ever happened to it?

Met Stirling Moss once when I was a kid. He was racing Audi touring cars at the time. Smashing bloke, took time out to have a chat to me and sign an autograph.

mate of mine owned it for the first year or so after it was built, so it's out there in caterhamland!
