Lotus 7 Club Birthday celebration at Beaulieu Sat 1st June

I have cleared this with the PH Mods.
In the spirit of inclusivity the Lotus 7 Club just wanted to extend an invitation to those lurking over on PH to the above event.
If any of you wanted to pop along in your 7 you would be be welcome, if you arrived before 10am (their normal opening time) please note Beaulieu will only accept cash. The turnout is going to see a huge variety of cars, we have 460 plus members coming to this event.
I can guarantee the vast majority are perfectly normal, many have no idea what a troll is, a few may be sporting beards however, on the whole they just enjoy their cars and meeting like minded friends old and new !!
Gates open at 8am for those driving 7s.
You would be able to park in amongst other Caterham & Lotus 7s

Actually it appears that because of the overwhelming pre-bookings, Beaulieu are quite happy to extend the L7C reduced entry of £15 to all Lotus/Caterhams that arrive between 0800 and 1000. Only proviso is that entry is paid by cash as the tills aren't manned until 1000.
Obviously someone has been hard at work to rectify the members only parking together scenario.
Great that all are welcome - regardless of their thoughts about the L7C, which is why the club was started in the first place - to get all Lotus and Caterham 7 owners together.

My supersport is still in pieces in the garage... so I went round to Beaulieu today to see the turnout. I have to say what an amazing sight. so many lotus 7 and Caterham's of all models, all cleaned and glistening in the sunlight. I had a splendid afternoon and so did my grandson a true tribute to the marque and all the owners in attendance. Now I am off to the garage my target is to have it ready by the time the meet on Poole quay comes around.
