Lsd price

Hi guys, just wondering how much a lsd would likely set me back all in fitted for my 2006 road sport 1.8kvvc.

I've just sent a diff to Road and Race and they are supplying the Titan LSD diff for £700 and £70 to fit (or £300 to fit and for a full overhaul). If you're looking for someone to remove the diff from the car, then I would guess it's 2 hours to get it out and a little longer to put it back in, so maybe another £300-£400 at you average garage.

I suppose the only question left is why the Titan lsd?

The Titan diff is the latest to the market and seems to be the most popular at the moment. Phil at Road and Race is supplying ones set up for the Caterham. If you are just going to use the car on the road, and for occasional trackdays, you could fit the cheaper Quaife ATB diff which works well, but it can have problems if you like getting airborne over curbs. There are other option, particularly secondhand, but most are considered 'second best' to the Titan.
